Hakim Briley has over 20 years of mechanical engineering experience. Growing up under the mentorship of his father, who was a Master Diesel Mechanic, Hakim began his journey by having his own mechanic workshop by the age of 14. After graduating high school, Hakim enlisted in the US Navy as an Engineman on a nuclear aircraft carrier. After serving our country for 8 years, Hakim embarked on a new era of locomotives.
A1 Locomotive Services, LLC was established due to the lack of mechanical maintenance Hakim experienced throughout his 14 years in the industry. There was a need for better maintenance procedures and customer service.
Our mission is to maintain and keep our locomotives running in top-tier condition to avoid unnecessary loss of productivity and catastrophic failures all while providing superior quality with a safe, timely and rational approach.
Now a veteran, Hakim still stands for his country and understands the locomotive's continued relevance and importance in our economy today and our country's environmental benefits. Here at A1 Locomotive Services, LLC, our goal is to create and provide the highest level of maintenance, quality, convenience and protection at FRA standards.
